Upcycle Your Wool Sweaters & More with Simple Needle Felting

Do you have old sweaters with holes and stains that you no longer plan to wear? Are your wool textiles looking a little worn or in need of jazzing up? In this course, we’ll help you take the old and make them new with needle felting! There are so many ideas and designs you can use to add flair and new life to these sweaters, garments, and wool textiles.

Not only will you make these sweaters more wearable, but you may also have just found your new favorite way to make ugly (or adorable) holiday sweaters.

Your instructors, Whitney and Christina, provide detailed instructions on getting started with needle felting, the tools and supplies, safety tips, and share their great ideas to inspire you to create your own needle-felted shapes and designs.

Editor's Note: Though this video is over a decade old, it’s a gem for learning how to needle felt. Please enjoy this course from the archives and start upcycling and saving your wool sweaters and more!
