Reviews

Great for true beginners

“I had tried to learn drop spinning from a few YouTube videos, and it got me started, but I didn't understand why and how it all worked like this video course showed. I wished I'd started with this video! But now I'm on the right track, and fully understand why I'm doing what I'm doing with the fiber, spindle, yarn, playing and the niddy noddy. Love it!” - Cherie Davidson

Informative and Creative

“Some of the different approaches helped me with my own troubleshooting. And I appreciate that she does everything with just the bare essentials so you don't have to spend a lot to get started.” - Chelsea Fawson

Inspired to give it another try

“I had tried learning how to spin on a drop spindle previously, but did not enjoy it at all. After recently considering giving my equipment and fiber away, I came across this workshop by Maggie Casey. Her patient and thorough teaching of the process in this workshop had me captivated, especially as she helped her student work through the questions and the hiccups that had previously had me so frustrated. Her workshop has truly re-ignited the excitement I once had to try spinning, and I feel a lot more confident in giving it another try! A plus is her very pleasant and patient demeanor. Would love to take more workshops by her.” - Lindsay Gardner
